Most management skills can hardly be taught at all, let alone &#039;internalized&#039; in three hours. You&#039;ll learn them by doing, and you internalize them by seeing your own and other people&#039;s mistakes and successes. Regarding the trainings -- Sturgeon was an optimist. 

The only things you could actually learn would be more practical things like time management (GTD etc.) and some project management tools (work breakdowns, gantts and friends). 

But most of the management trainings are just an excuses to leave the office for a while. You might as well visit &#039;The Secret&#039; seminars :-)</description>
